Over the last week, Whistler RCMP officers issued four 90-day driving prohibitions to drunk drivers. In one case, an officer on patrol saw a driver who was driving circles in Day Lot 5. A breath sample found the driver to be impaired and the vehicle was impounded.

Officers also ticketed a driver for driving on the Village Stroll. In total, four cars were impounded for 30 days. Another driver received a three-day driving suspension and had their car towed after providing breath samples that showed WARN.
On November 28, around 11:30 pm, police also received a noise complaint about a party in the 2300 block of Cayley Cls. People at the home complied with the officer’s direction to reduce noise. Police reminds people to be respectful of the the RMOW noise bylaw that prohibits noise between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am.

On November 27, thieves broke into a car parked along the 2400 block of Cavendish Way and stole a mitten, but left all other items and documents in the car.
