Two motorcyclist have died after a fatal crash on Highway 1 near Lytton.
Lillooet RCMP said it received a report of a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV on Highway 1 between Spences Bridge and Lytton around 6:14 pm. Two people on the motorcycle suffered significant injuries in the crash. They were given first aid by first responders but were pronounced deceased.
“It is too early in the investigation to determine causal factors but early indications suggest that the motorcycle may have crossed the centre line where it impacted the SUV,” Lillooet RCMP said.
One lane on the Highway 1 remains closed but there may be intermittent closures of the second lane while the investigation continues.
