Lillooet RCMP seek help identifying suspect in alleged theft

Lillooet-Lytton RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for a theft at a local business in Lillooet.

On March 28, 2024 at 10:29 am a local business owner in Lillooet reported to police that a man had stolen merchandise valued at $42.65 and left on foot.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Lillooet-Lytton RCMP at 250-256-4244. Please reference file 2024-576.

Vehicle on fire

On March 20, 2024 a caller reported a vehicle was on fire in a pullout off Trans Canada Hwy 1 near Siska in Lytton. A Lytton RCMP member responded, conducted the investigation, and learned the vehicle had been parked there for several weeks. Fire crews put out the fire.

The owner later called police and advised it was her vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Lillooet-Lytton RCMP, please reference Lillooet-Lytton RCMP file 2024-516.
