There has been a shooting incident in Whistler that claimed the life of two people, although nothing has been confirmed by the police.
The shooting took place at a hotel in the Whistler Village, according to an eyewitness who called the Whistler Daily Post shortly after the shooting.

An employee who works at the Pan Pacific Hotel told the Whistler Daily Post that police and paramedics are responding to the incident that took place at noon. At least 8 rounds were fired.

However, police has yet to provide any details. Angela Kermer of the Sea to Sky RCMP said police will soon provide information about the incident.
