UPDATE: Missing man found safe

Lillooet RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 64 year-old Akinori Iwabuchi who has been reported missing on August 3, 2022.

Iwabuchi is believed to have left in a grey 2007 Hummer H3 with British Columbia licence plate number 581 WWG. He is also believed to be travelling in the Kamloops area, though police didn’t provide any details on his last location.

Iwabuchi is described as an Asian male, 64 years old, 6 feet tall and approximately 200 pounds. Police and family are worried for Iwabuchi’s health and well-being.

If you know Iwabuchi’s whereabouts, please contact your local police immediately.
