BC Hydro has scheduled a power outage this Sunday, October 30, from 9 am to 5 pm for the Village of Pemberton.

Planned outages are necessary to safely maintain and improve the electric system, which helps reduce the frequency of unplanned outages caused by storms and equipment failures, says BC Hydro
Before the outage begins, people are advised to turn off electric heaters, major appliances and unplug sensitive electronics to protect them from damage. Those who rely on electric medical equipment, access doors or garage doors should have a plan to maintain use.
