Do you recognize either of the women in the picture above? Whistler RCMP are asking for help to identify a woman who allegedly stole a backpack from a local business.
Sometime just before midnight on September 4, 2022, an unknown female stole a grey Hurley brand backpack from a business in the 4300 block of Main St. The theft was captured on the business’ surveillance video. The woman stole the backpack when the complainant was facing away from her. During the theft, she was accompanied by another woman.

The first woman is described as having light/fair complexion, brown, long wavy hair, between the age of 20 and 30 years. She was wearing a brown hat, dark blue shirt, and beige shorts.
The second woman is described as light/fair complexion, brown straight hair, roughly same age as the first woman, and wearing a black top and black pants. The contents in the backpack included protein supplements, Ray Ban sunglasses, and some other personal items.
“While the value of stolen goods is not significant in the big picture, no one should have their things stolen,” says Corporal Angela Kermer of the Sea to Sky RCMP. Whistler RCMP asks anyone with any information regarding the above file to contact the local detachment at 604-932-3044, or, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, or go to www.solvecrime.ca
