BC Hydro has advised of a planned power outage for some areas of the Village of Pemberton on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 8 am to 3 pm.
Planned outages are necessary to safely maintain and improve the electrical system, which helps reduce the frequency of unplanned outages caused by storms and equipment failures.
Before the outage begins, residents are asked to turn off electric heaters, major appliances and unplug sensitive electronics to protect them from damage. If you rely on electric medical equipment, access doors or garage doors, have a plan to maintain use.
