Sea to Sky RCMP seek dashcam footage after hit-and-run injures pedestrian and baby in Squamish

The Sea to Sky RCMP-Squamish is asking for the public’s help in a hit-and-run in which a pedestrian and baby were struck, and the baby was dragged on the car for two blocks in Downtown Squamish.

The driver was arrested, and the pedestrian and the baby were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle fled the scene and was approximately found two blocks away. The driver was arrested.

Please call the Squamish RCMP if you have dashcams or doorbell/home security cameras in the area of Second Avenue/Pemberton Avenue to Fourth Avenue/Winnipeg Avenue between 8 pm and 9 pm. Anyone who witnessed the incident and has not spoken to police should call the Sea to Sky RCMP-Squamish at 604-892-6100.

Sea to Sky RCMP-Squamish are thanking the public for their quick actions in locating the vehicle and providing timely information to police to assist in the investigation. No more information will be provided while Squamish RCMP investigates the incident.
