The Conservation Officer Service has announced a new job opening for a seasonal Wildlife Safety Response Officer (WSRO) in the Resort Municipality of Whistler.

The position aims to reduce human-wildlife conflicts by working closely with the community and promoting public safety. The WSRO will be responsible for public outreach and education while working outdoors and keeping wildlife wild. The successful candidate will be critical in reducing conflicts between humans and wildlife in the area.

To be considered for this role, applicants must be committed to public safety and desire to make a positive impact in the community.

The job also requires a passion for working outdoors and a willingness to engage with the public regularly.
