Planned power outage in Pemberton next week

BC Hydro crews will commence maintenance work on the Pemberton Substation (1404 Portage Rd), including wood pole and cross-arm replacement work this week. This work will be conducted in two stages, and community members can expect to see crews on site in early May and early June.

Planned Outages

Friday, May 3: Residents and businesses along Aspen Boulevard up to Oak Street, as well as residents along Oak Street, can expect two short power outages during the day, each lasting less than 15 minutes.

Traffic may be reduced to single-lane alternating at the Pemberton Portage Road/Aspen Boulevard roundabout for approximately one hour. On Sunday, May 5, there will be a planned outage at Pemberton Secondary School from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
