The legendary Crankworx Mountain Bike Festival is set to return to its birthplace in Whistler from July 19 to 28, marking its 19th edition with ten days of thrilling competitions, cultural events, and community gatherings.

Festival Highlights:

Red Bull Joyride Competition: For the first time in its history, the Red Bull Joyride Competition will feature a female category, running alongside the male category on the same course and with the same prize money. This iconic event, known for its spectacular jumps and tricks on the biggest slopestyle course of the World Tour circuit, is a major crowd-puller, attracting over 35,000 spectators and millions of viewers worldwide.

The Red Bull Joyride will take place on July 27 at the base of Whistler Mountain.

Aspire at Crankworx Whistler: A new addition to the festival, Aspire is a Grow Cycling Foundation event presented by Outdoor Research and supported by Crankworx Whistler. This one-day event, scheduled for July 22 at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, aims to promote diversity within the mountain biking industry.

Hosted by Eliot Jackson, founder of the Grow Cycling Foundation, Aspire will feature networking opportunities, panel discussions, and empowerment sessions focused on underrepresented groups in the sport. Notable speakers include Greg Minnaar, who will discuss the business aspects of being a professional athlete, and Katie Holden, who will lead a panel on the future of women’s mountain biking.

Join the Crankworx community in Whistler to celebrate mountain biking culture, showcasing the sport’s top talent and promoting inclusivity within the industry.
