This summer, Whistler Olympic Plaza is hosting a series of free outdoor movie screenings every Wednesday and Saturday, offering a delightful mix of classic films and recent releases in a picturesque mountain setting. The screenings will begin at 8 p.m.; attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or low chairs for a relaxing evening under the stars.

Movie Schedule:

  • July 3 & 6: Eddie the Eagle
  • July 10 & 13: 500 Days in the Wild
  • August 7 & 10: Next Goal Wins
  • August 14 & 17: Bob Marley: One Love
  • August 21 & 24: Mrs. Doubtfire

Event Guidelines: Due to the unpredictable mountain weather, guests should dress warmly and bring blankets to stay comfortable throughout the evening. The event may be cancelled for safety reasons if bad weather is forecasted. Cancellations will be announced by 4 p.m. on the day of the screening. Before heading to the plaza, attendees should check the event’s website or social media for updates.

Venue Rules:

  • Respect the Environment: Dispose of trash, compost, and recycling properly to keep the plaza clean.
  • Safety First: Be mindful of your surroundings and report any concerns to event staff.
  • Alcohol Policy: No alcohol is allowed within the venue.
  • No Smoking/Vaping: Smoking and vaping are prohibited within Whistler Village and Olympic Plaza.
  • No Drones: Drones are not permitted for safety reasons.
