The Fire & Ice Show in Whistler’s Skier’s Plaza is set to dazzle spectators every Sunday night this winter, blending pyrotechnics, music, and live performances with the high-flying stunts of world-class athletes. The free 30-minute event, running from January 5 to March 9, 2025, invites locals and visitors alike to experience an evening of thrilling entertainment.
Skiers and snowboarders will flip and twist through a blazing hoop, set to the beats of a live DJ, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display. The show also offers cultural performances, including a showcase of the legend of Spo7ez—a village shared by the Squamish and Lil’wat Nations—and a performance by world champion hoop dancer Alex Wells.
Families and friends are encouraged to dress warmly, grab a hot chocolate, and enjoy this unique display of talent and tradition at the base of Whistler and Excalibur Gondolas in Whistler Village. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. each Sunday, except for February 9, when it will start at 8 p.m.
Presented by Whistler Blackcomb in collaboration with the Resort Municipality of Whistler and Tourism Whistler, the Fire & Ice Show promises a memorable evening of free entertainment for all ages.
